I have been told “NOT” to drink red wine by my ENT doc. Because if you have migraines or any other types of head ach regularly, red wine can make them worse. Now I do like an occasional margarita and for that reason I found out that the next day I would have a great bowl movement. For me this was a great find, I have IBS with constipation. So I went and bought some tequila & made this recipe.>>>

1)	One Tbl. Spoon of tequila (your choice)
2)	¼ cup of margarita mixer (your choice)
3)	¼ cup of pink lemon aid
4)	2 sweetener packets for taste

In a glass, put the Tbl. spoon of tequila, add the ¼ mixer, add the ¼ pink lemon aid & sweeteners. Stir and then add ice. Now if it is too strong, you can add more mixer or pink lemon aid.

I do not recommend drinking every day, “ONLY” when your bowl movements are slowing down…no more than once a week. This drink keeps my bowls moving really well for two-four days. I also recommend that you stay on a high fiber diet, no red meats. They are hard to diejest and can cause constipation. Tender chicken & fish is the best choice along with plenty of fruits & veggies.

I had terrible anxiety for years and the thing that finally worked for me was EFT tapping. It's pretty easy to learn and you can use it on both physical and emotional symptoms of IBS. If you read the books about trauma by Gary Craig or Dr. Robert Scaer, it turns out that IBS is almost like a form of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) that happens to people after a car accident or a relationship breakup or sometimes just a whole series of stressful experiences. They say that the memory of the trauma is like a trigger in the brain that switches on IBS symptoms, so if you deal with the trauma, you can switch off the symptoms. A lot of returning veterans have IBS after their war experience. Gary Craig has a book on amazon called EFT for PTSD that tells you how to clear trauma (and anxiety). It's kinda oriented towards military people but the explanations of how to use the EFT are good--just apply it to your own situation. It's helped me a ton.

I've been having symptoms of IBS for 7 months ( i'm hoping it's IBS ). I'm still waiting to be seen by a specialest. I keep getting the run around by my doctor, who is a major pill pusher.I've been in the hospital 5 times for severe panic attacks. I would like to know if these attacks are known to come on without any cramps? Sometimes there is a slight flutter, like gas movement right before i start to feel anxious. Are these normal with IBS?

I have been diagnosed with IBS at the beginning of this year. i have to say it is one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had. i also get anxiety attacks. My heart starts pounding too fast. I all of a sudden feel numb all over my body. My hands and feet starts sweating uncontrollably I constantly cry out to God to help me. I also discovered that heat has a negative effect on me. Am currently no using medication.

My wife has IBS, bad IBS, and she has found out from extensive testing something that has brought her life changing results.

1. She takes 4 Alli tablets per day, 2 morning, 2 at night. (Yes this is a weight loss sumplement, but what ever is in it works miraculously. Check it out.)

2. She takes 4 Digestive Advantage, Gas Formula pills, 2 morning 2 at night, with the Alli. (DA makes an IBS formula, but she didn't have much success with that, so she tried the Gas Formula and it works like a charm.)

3. Now here's the clincher, when she takes the 2 things above it helps dramatically, but not all the way. The third step is that she drinks a few shots of Margaritaville Gold Tequila. She mixes it only with Orange juice as margarita mix bothers her stomache.

She has tried red wine and a glass or two doesn't bother her but it doesn't help her either. It's interesting that she gets no buzz from drinking the tequila, although she slow sips it over a couple of hours, but we have found that if she stops drinking the tequila her stomache starts hurting. If she runs out of Alli or Gas pills she will start cramping up almost to the point of taking her to the emergency room, which she did every other week or so for a long time.

Those are her results, and maybe they would help you or not. But I thought I would share it.

This statement - If you suffer from IBS you really need to take a self evaluation to see if your own behaviors are contributing to your illness. Make any changes possible to cut down on your stress level. - is good advice. IBS may be a symptom of a disorder that can be treated.

Your article was very informative.

Thank you.
